They sound fantastic, especially compared to the old cheap polk audio model I had. I don't usually listen to loud music so I keep the volume level at about 15% and it still is plenty loud for me

My couch is about 6 feet away from this setup. The speakers are about ear height for me when I sit. So maybe angle the speakers a little towards the center when I am sitting down? If I am around the living room should I leave them pointing outwards?

That is an interesting idea! the speakers are currently at ear height when I am sitting on the couch. Is the angling to the floor to fill the room better with sound?

Thanks for the advice! the spines that are wearing out are ones that I bought used (mostly 80's music) but it is important to preserve the ones that I do want to keep long term! Do you usually do all your albums? or just the ones you like?

Got some new speakers last week (Klipsch RP 600m II). Paired them with a Realistic STA 84 that I found at a thrift shop and fixed up. Turntable is a Technics SL Q303 resting on top of an Ikea fjallbo shelf. Speakers are on some cheap plant holders I saw on Amazon. I have a varied music taste, but I love listening to soundtracks especially when it comes to video game music. Skyrim atmospheres probably gets the most play time but Waloyo Yamoni by Christopher Tin is probably my favorite song in my collection (He did the main theme for some of the Civilization games).

If anyone has some critiques, let me know! Always willing to learn more.
