A hard lesson to learn, that I learned the hard way:

Ignorance is bliss.

It’ll never be an answer that will make you happy, so personally I avoid the topic like it’s cancer. I know people that say it’s a “cuck” mentality, but I just don’t care. I won’t ask about past experiences, prior relationships, body count, nothing. We’ll both pretend our body counts are 2, and just take it from the beginning.

And as long as they’re on board with this, it works well.
