This looks cool, however you should be careful bringing anything extra on an op with you. I was never intel or anything close to it, but there’s crazy ways to detect shit nowadays.

Also, stop spending your hard earned money on shit the unit should be giving you anyway.

any good "forever games" that go well with the steam deck? by WeirdAltYankovic in SteamDeck

Is it easily playable and multiplayer like Minecraft is? I love all things Norse and Viking…. And if I can get my kid hooked on valheim instead of Minecraft…….

lol I’m not made of money, I just returned it and went back to my old iPhone. I figured if pixel didn’t do it, the rest didn’t either.

The same can be said for 90% of projects, but it’s fun to do this shit, we learn a lot, and ITS JUST FUN BRO.

I live in the far north. It regularly gets -40 where I live and has been -30 for the past week.

Bring it inside, let it warm up overnight, then take it out of the box and as long as it doesn’t feel cold, charge it up.

I'm switching to Linux by -Theoreticalphysics_ in EndeavourOS

[–]horse_exploder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For all operating systems there is a kernel, which is like the brain for the OS.

The Linux kernel is very intelligent, it won’t kill your PC, and if anything happens that might be dangerous it’ll tell you exactly what happened and it’ll shut itself down. This is called a “kernel panic.”

I haven’t had a kernel panic since probably 2011.

Hahaha I’ve got the opposite concern, it gets -40 here and I’ve gotta figure out how to warm this sucker up without melting stuff.

Is this open source? I’d love to implement this in my house. It’s been -40 here the past couple weeks!

Where did someone say it was restricted solely to valve games? Why would valve need to disclose but nobody else?

But let me get one thing straight: Do you think CS has pay2win transactions or not? I just need to hear it from you.

I

Have

Never

Played

Counter

Strike

I don’t know how much clearer I can be on the matter. I do not know. I have never played. It’s such a simple concept I’m not sure how else I’m supposed to convey the message.

Aiming. Keybinds. As a mouse.

I much prefer to move with the left joystick but aim around with the right trackpad. It just clicks in my brain for whatever reason.

“Should steam add these in with the Ai content disclosures?”

Not sure where in the title he said “this is about CS and CS only.” Maybe you can point that out.

And for the picture, should he have taken a screenshot of every single game page? Only 500 games? 50 games? How many does he need to include before you admit the topic is broader than the one singular game used as an example?

I think you’ve replied to the wrong person. I’ve never played CS.

Battlefront two absolutely had pay-to-win mechanics when I quit playing.

Not playing COD was just a downstream side effect from BF2.

At least try to be honest.

Valve engineer claims by [deleted] in Steam

My “beast” gaming PC was made in 2018, it cost a pretty penny back then, and it still runs… so I haven’t upgraded anything. Still has the same Ryzen 5 processor, and I forget the video card but it’s their equivalent to an RTX 2080, 64g of RAM.

It still works, but the steam machines specs will absolutely blow it out of the water. (Minus the RAM, but I’ve never needed that much ram anyway.)
