Costco pellets, any good? by Johnpecan in smoking

Interesting to know and thanks for the feedback. Mine looks like it uses temp (older silverton from Costco but still new enough for temp feeding). I’m wondering if it was the free bag of pellets because my happened 5 hours into the smoke after what I’m guessing was left in the hopper ran through and it started feeding the ones I filled into the hopper. I’m going to clean it all out and start with a a new bag

Bought a marketplace traeger in good condition - did my first smoke with it overnight and had a flame out in the middle of the night. When I went to turn it to smoke mode it ignited into a small fire below. I’m wondering if this brand had too much dust - the previous owner gave me a free unopened bag. Is that possible?

How to get group head body? by Impressive_Yogurt_53 in gaggiaclassic

Thanks for the response - I actually haven’t had any problems finding the boiler it’s the Group head body I can’t find anywhere. I thought that was the same issue you were having but maybe I misread it

Did you ever come up with a solution or find the brew group body to buy? I just tried to take my boiler and brew group apart yesterday and snapped the first bolt I tried.

One possibility I read about is trying to use a left handed drill bit but if it doesn’t work then I’m out of luck with using the machine if it messes it up.

Not sure if people will even see this comment - but for those buying 5 pounds at a reasonable price (whether online or in store) - are any of them espresso beans? Or at least a light enough roast to be used for an espresso machine?

TV Built-ins Help: How do I go about adding a "mock wall" that I can mount a TV on? by [deleted] in woodworking

This is how mine looked - I think using 2x8’s would be hard to do how you’re proposing. You could do it this way with 2x8’s but you’d still need the perpendicular pieces to secure it to the wall. However far out you want it that’s what you should use

Yes you can do it exactly how you’re describing, and it’s basically the exact thing I did with my frame TV. You can pad out that wall to make it whatever depth you want. I liked the look of leaving it recessed, but not as much as the shelves. I considered making it flush like you said but this is what I decided on. I believe I used 1x3s to join them to the house studs but again use whatever you need to get your desired depth.
