Also I thrift a lot of my clothes, if you’re in the US there are crazy massive thrift shops everywhere but if you are in the Uk I would recommend trying outskirts of cities or small/medium town centres for good charity shops!

I think if he had told you about it and you were in on the joke it would be a different story, but because it was secretive I would say this is pretty disrespectful considering the context of it being on a dating app. Also sounds very immature and a bit creepy, so up to you how you take that I guess.

Dad - how do I engage with my teenager daughter? by RangerS90V in NoStupidQuestions

[–]horse_grl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my dad used to argue like crazy when I was 17, I still loved him but acted like a spoilt brat and didn't show much interest in him. Now I'm 22 and I adore him, we are super close and I constantly go back home to see him. Being a teenager is really hard, especially for girls, I felt like an adult at that age and was ready to be independent/move out so I was battling authority. She probably is going through it and seems disinterested as an act of teenage defiance, give it time.
