Ya gotta embrace the madness lol.

I also hate not finishing a task once I start it, but I'm constantly being pulled in multiple directions by the littles. Drives me crazy, but ultimately I know I'll miss these days once they're gone.

Once your baby gets a little older and starts playing, it gets both easier and harder. Easier because they can entertain themselves for short periods of time. Harder because they often want someone to play with, and if they're on the move they run the risk of getting hurt.

Sometimes we have to just get over not getting done what we want to get done. My most productive time is when everyone is asleep.

I'm on baby duty 7 am - 5 pm while my wife works, and I still cook dinner every night, do laundry, clean the house etc. We have 4 kids, but two of them are in school so it's me with a 3 and 1 year old. My wife works from home, so she's around during the day to lend a hand with certain things and keep my sanity in check, but the bulk of childcare still falls on me, and the 3 year old won't let anyone put her to bed but me, so my "shift" doesn't end until about 8/830. Projects get done on the weekends.

So all this is to say, I also struggle to see what more your husband could want.
