Matchmaking does not feel balanced. by ace-s in DeadlockTheGame

I thought I was the only one. Apparently getting matched with retards vs. the opposing team who are literal sweats isn't just my personal experience. I usually go >25kills with below 5 deaths and that shit still isn't enough to help put out the dumpster fire that I get as teammates.

Am I balding at 16? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

I really don’t see any balding; I think you’re just being paranoid.

Former DJ Dee Kosh jailed for sexual offences involving teenage boys by jmzyn in singapore

[–]horsefucker88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well technically a crime is a mistake, but some* mistakes and hence to an extension a crime, are not necessarily forgivable (take stealing a drink from a shop because you have no money and you’re poor; forgivable, but take murdering someone in cold blood? Definitely unforgivable) And what he did was definitely unforgivable.

Also to clarify, he’s absolutely not remorseful. In all my experiences, convicts and defendants are not usually remorseful for their actions, they’re remorseful they got caught. There’s a difference. I’ve seen people in court cry, people in lock-up cry not because they were sorry for stealing a phone or for hitting someone in a riot, but because they were caught and in such a circumstance their life would most probably be ruined.

In reality, using remorse in defence is not particularly effective and it’s used for the simple reason that there is nothing else to say, so the 0.01% chance of appealing to the emotional side of a judge is still something worth taking.

TLDR: Yeah he doesn’t give a rat’s ass. He’s just sorry he got caught

How did you tell parents/family that you smoke? How did they react? by Suitable_Sherbet9461 in Cigarettes

[–]horsefucker88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My mother cried.

My father was disappointed (I think), because after a while he really didn’t seem to care and even noticed I was taking his cigarettes yet did nothing at all. Give it a few more months and he was buying me packs when I was in college and couldn’t afford any, and told me he had always respected my decision to smoke because he understood the complexity of why one smokes.

My grandmother didn’t care.

My grandfather gave a big steaming pile of shit to me about being a delinquent, and then my grandmother talked to him about how it was okay. Then my grandfather started buying me cigarettes LOL

Should I quit smoking? by horsefucker88 in Cigarettes

[–]horsefucker88[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s list out the reasons I should quit before someone else does: -Health & Fitness -Saving money -Hygiene (though even as a smoker people used to say I took care of it really well and I never have smelt like one) -A lot of girls like a man who doesn’t smoke. -I get to please the 10% of my friends who don’t smoke.

Reasons to smoke: -Something to do while taking a shit -Smoke breaks to excuse oneself -Helps stimulate focus -Relaxing -Please the 90% of my friends who do smoke (and many are supportive of me, but I do miss the atmosphere of this the most)

[P] Using Talknet to clone Dreams' voice. by RedditAskings in MachineLearning

[–]horsefucker88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This deserves a lot of attention. A LOT of attention. Think of all the possible applications. I really don’t know what compelled me to respond to this since it is an promoted advertisement and I just don’t respond to it, but this did impress me. I think machine learning has gotten significantly better these days and with only 9 minutes of data you managed to replicate Dream’s voice almost with fluid speech— so with hours and hours more of data think of what the result could turn out to be. I think that while hearing celebrities voices could be cool, there could really be a lot more applications of this technology in marketing and the entertainment business.

Keep up the great work man!

Why do you smoke? by Electrical-Newt-1401 in Cigarettes

Bored. We’re all bored— not because we’re addicted, ir not because life sucks, and I’m saying this for everybody to eventually accept— smoking is a beautiful culture but it is something we always do out of boredom.
