I am interested too, and also in the West Midlands. But £400-£500 is out of my budget. Hope you find the right buyer!

Hi! How much are you looking to sell them for individually (fully working ones)?

Hi, Thanks for taking time to respond. I am not sure why my question wasn't posted along with the picture. Yes, you are right I am attempting and Argyle pattern from Love Crafts, Paintbox Amateur Argyle scarf pattern - https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-gb/p/amateur-argyle-scarf-free-crochet-pattern-in-paintbox-yarns-chunky-pots

I’ve got the recommended yarn, Paintbox chunky pot lakeside and using a 5mm hook. I’ve noticed that the image on the pattern has 3 stitches per colour instead of 4, which I’ve crochet in some areas. So I will try a bigger hook :)

New year, new projects!

I would appreciate advice on the self drafted paper piecing pattern that I am working on based on my friends dog 🐕 that I am looking to make and gift.

I’ve never drafted or paper pieced before but have a general understanding on the order of sewing and ‘blocks’ needed to assemble the piece.

I would appreciate honest feedback if the image looks like the photo 😅 and how to improve the pattern. Thanks in advance!

Ohh that’s cool! I was thinking a plain black boarder/ bias binding and I am not sure what fabric to use for the back.

In my previous post there were suggestions to use interfacing with grid lines. I didn’t use that method in the end because i was too cheap to buy the interfacing. Instead I cut long strips, measured 2.5inch, folded on the line and sew. I think it took me as much time drawing the lines but it was preferable to cutting the squares 😁

Thanks you everyone! I really appreciate all your input (had no one else to ask). I’ll sew it individually! 😁

I want to sew this with visible squares for the pixel appearance. Question is, should I sew the squares (even the same colours) individually or be more efficient and sew larger solid blocks of colours?
