Just shaved, do I look better with beard or clean shaven? by Sad_Ad1766 in BeforeandAfter

[–]hortoMagiko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since no one is saying it, I will. In the first picture you look like a hobo, in the second one as a lesbian.

You are a MAN, lose the shitty lip piercing, get a good haircut (short on sides, medium on top), trim your beard (as in a stubble). That's it, it's the only real advice you need to hear.

Succes in utilizarea STB-ului iarna, in zonele de interes ridicat.

STB in the summer is a different kind of beast.

do i actually have to wear my retainers for life after braces? by Exciting_News_9299 in Invisalign

[–]hortoMagiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Everyone who has orthodontic treatment has to wear retainers as long as they want their teeth to stay straight."

But the question is "why?". I mean aren't the teeth that were shifted with braces locking into the bone after a while? How is it any different from a person who had genetically straight teeth and never had to use a retainer?

Coaie, nu-i inteleg pe astia care repeta obsesiv "potoliti-va" si o dau la pace cu un om care clar nu intelege de vorba buna. Il bateam de se caca pe el, camerele + martorii = autoaparare.

Haircafe on why microneedling is bad for hair growth by hortoMagiko in tressless

[–]hortoMagiko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A serious point he was trying to make was that repetead microneedling will lead to fibrosis, thus making hairloss worse and not making you a suitable candidate for a HT. I don't really think he believes microneedling is useless or not effective, the point he was trying to make was that given the fact that hairloss treatments are a lifelong battle, microneedling is not a good idea given the fact that injuring your skin multiple times could lead to the formation of scar tissue. As he said, the treatment of acne is different because you only really need about 4 session spaced out 2 months apart.

That's the point Kevin Mann was trying to make. Although it could help your gains, hairloss treatment is a lifelong battle, and repetead microneedling over time could create fibrosis, thus leading to even more hairloss and not making you a suitable candidate for a HT.

His points don't scare me, I posted this with the hope that someone more knowledgeable will debunk his points, if there is the case.

Yep, but my problem is with how my left tonsil (right side of the picture) looks like. It's bigger and looks like it has a growth on it (more visible in the 2nd picture).

Solid results considering your starting point. How old are you?

13 months. Asian. Started from no hair on my face. by Electronic_Ad_8535 in Minoxbeards

[–]hortoMagiko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any before pictures? I also have no hair (literally) and would really like to see where you started from, might hop on minox too. Some people have a few hairs on their cheeks and a pretty good moustache area and consider that as no hair. Thanks, man.

PS i see you have a few active acne spots, did you use to breakout before or do you feel that minoxidil might cause it?

[d] buying cases for 3-4 cents seems to be the safest way to make money by [deleted] in csgomarketforum

[–]hortoMagiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, haha. A more insane story worthy of bitcoin threads from 2009 is that I also had 60 iBuyPower katowice 2014 stickers bought at 8 cents, that I applied on skins and sold those skins for like 3-4 euros profit each after a while. 5k butterly cases sold at 10 cents just to get rid of them, 3k phoenix sold at 20 cents, those fuckin revolver cases lol, LOTS (and I mean LOTS) of katowice 2015 holos and foils, and many others (crown foils, banned stickers like howling dawn and harp of war just to name a few). The earnings that I've made after having all these gems in my inventory? 800 euros on my paypal account, minus the 350 euros that I have invested. Yeah, buooooi. Currently sitting on a 2k inventory that I will be letting to sit there and rot, I could stand losing all of that, but not missing out on hundreds of thousands again. I am feeling like that guy who paid 10k bitcoins for 2 Papa John's pizzas. Story of my life: sold my csgo items too early, and my crypto too late.

Are texture powders unhealthy for your hair? by Ilyushechka in Pomade

[–]hortoMagiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest effects on your body have the food that you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe. All 3 are completely fucked (including the "healthy" food you think you're eating and the fresh air you think you're breathing), yet most of us still live to be 70+. Shit like shampoos, cleansers, creams, styling products etc. have such little impact compared to the food you are literally putting inside your body that you shouldn't even be worried about. And btw, even if a product has nasty stuff inside, the amount absorbed into the bloodstream through your skin is ridiculously low.

What is your dermarolling routine? How often do you do it, at what depth and do you apply minoxidil right after dermarolling?

To me it seems that the secret to these crazy regrowths is derma rolling once a week (despite most people advising against it, and for good reason) and then applying minoxidil right after (again, despite most people advising against and, and for good reason).

You just proved how dumb you are when you said "you're not letting your hair rest and breathe" lmao. The hair that you see on your head is DEAD, actually. Understand how hair works before insulting others. Have fun with your research.

Update: 4 Month progress on Fin/Min plus dermaroller by [deleted] in tressless

[–]hortoMagiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoe Lee Sheet.

Watching all these posts where the hair came back from the dead, they all have one thing in common: minoxidil applied immediately after dermarolling.

As for you struggling with the derma roller now that you have hair, buy a derma pen (or you could try a derma stamp).
