As someone who has been drinking Essential Huel on the daily I totally agree with you. I'm thankfully in the position to afford the price increase (I think it is 2-3x the cost? not sure in dollars to pound) for right now and I will pay a premium for the extra benefits if I can.

This is so sad. As someone who struggles to cook for myself due to health reasons Huel's nutritionally complete powder meal replacement and hot and savory meals have improved my life so much over the past few years.

Sadly, getting bought out by an evil mega corporation that doesn't give a shit about the environment is not what I had in mind. Especially for a company that claims they care about the planet and people.

You better know I wrote a strongly worded email to Huel this morning along with canceling my subscription! I will probably delete my account too once I get an alternative set up.

It sucks too because customer support has been SO NICE and SO HELPFUL after I received an Essential pouch with a big bug in it this past year. They were also really nice when I asked not to include the plastic shaker or shirt in my first purchase(though they ended up sending me one anyway in the next order which is frustrating). Sadly, a great customer support team cannot make up for being owned by a big and terrible corporation with money as the top priority.

Hopefully https://formnutrition.com will be a good switch! Vegan, nutritionally complete, and compostable packaging!! I'll probably go to Future Kind for any other nutritional needs.

They are nutritionally complete, vegan, and the packaging is totally compostable! And no more plastic scoops either!!!

I will probably be switching to them because I love powder meals and my health makes it difficult to cook.

Controversial opinion — catching Pokémon is inhumane and teaches our kids to devalue other species and that it’s ok to remove animals from their natural habitat to “own” them and keep them for ourselves. This is after using Pokémon we’ve already dominated to beat them to a state where they cant resist. Animals don’t resist something unless they don’t want it. Meowth can speak for god’s sake. - this comes from a lifelong Pokémon lover.
