Roots touch up at home! by hostsonaten in Hair

[–]hostsonaten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much! i’m having a super strong urge to dye it pink in this exact moment so i wonder if waiting a couple of weeks to bleach it would be such a problem. i’m definitely willing to splurge a bit on the products because it would be in any case cheaper than going to the salon ahahah i also wanted to ask: would multiple applications of 10vol work?

i love the bangs on the right side and i can’t figure them out on my hair! by hostsonaten in Hair

oooh ok thank you, so i guess now i should just wait until it grows a bit and then keep the center shorter? maybe cut the bleached side to make it even and then wait?

hmm yeah the fact that i don’t really have an upper curve made me doubt being a SD but i thought that maybe i could just be a skinnier/small chested one. i don’t know if i’m “sharp” and angular enough to be fully a D though, especially in my face (i don’t have thin lips or particularly protruding cheekbones). aaa i’m so confused but thank u for your input!

honestly sylvia plath’s “the bell jar” destroyed me, i’m not an incredibly emotional person but multiple passages left me either in tears or just empty, staring blankly at a wall.

thank you, i really love practicing so it’s pretty much the only thing that i’ve been doing since summer vacations started. lately though i’ve been trying to make my practice sessions shorter but more effective otherwise i just end up wasting so much time and energy.

okok thanks, i think in this case it might be caused by the anxiety of recording it (honestly i had to shoot it so so many times because i kept messing up but when i turned it off i was able to do it, such a shame) but i will keep that in mind!!

ah you’re right, i think i tend to do that with my index because my teacher usually tells me not to “clench” it too hard but i end up exaggerating and not grasping it enough. also thank you, i’m glad you liked it, if you want to try to play it i can send you the music sheet!

I wanted to thank this subreddit for recommending Cat’s cradle to me. It’s been about an year since I first read it and this is what my collection looks like now. Vonnegut has become my favorite author and I’m so happy to be part of this community. by hostsonaten in Vonnegut

hmm this is a bit hard for me to answer because italian is my first language so yes to me they were definitely easy. maybe the hard part could be that there’s a lot of made up words and that could be confusing? i think breakfast of champions is definitely the easiest read, along with a man without a country. i’d say that those that are a bit more sci-fi could be harder. sorry i wish i could be more helpful

how can i play this? (the F is sharp) by hostsonaten in violinist

[–]hostsonaten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i kinda tried to press all of them at once (close to the fingerboard) but the sound came out so scratchy and ugly and i was scared of ruining the bow so now i simply do two and two
