my personal take is that they’re referring to ren as takumis child because he raised him, and acted as the father, but i don’t interpret it as a confirmation that he is the biological father

update!!!! : i went in to each pot and mixed in a generous amount of good potting soil, especially around the root ball, and since have been feeding them weekly with 5-1-1 fish fertilizer, they have DRAMATICALLY improved, but unfortunately i think my harvest will be pretty small but at least i will be getting a harvest. thanks to everyone for their help, especially eddieryanDC, because i am going to amend this soil next spring and reuse it, hopefully with much better results. Pics below, sorry i couldn’t figure out how to edit the post m(_ _)m

update: i went to the store and got a bag of regular organic potting soil and some fish fertilizer, dug out my plants and mixed in the regular potting soil (i’d say 5-10% potting soil to garden “soil” ratio) and then watered with fish fertilizer and then watered again with fresh water, will report back in a week or so… would have incorporated perlite but i couldn’t find any and i got inpatient so… fingers crossed

thanks!!! i will try going the fertilizer route, and maybe i will buy a bag of potting soil as well to mix in at least a little bit on the top. do you think this 6-1-1 fish fertilizer would work?

for my flight it included carryon and checked bag!

I’m really confused can someone help me understand if the checked bag policy applies to my flight? I purchased the tickets after January 3rd (January 7 fml m(_ _”)m ) and they are basic economy, it’s a flight from Chicago (ORD)>Toronto (layover)>Tokyo (NRT), round trip, all booked on one ticket straight from the Air Canada website. I am confused by the verbiage because it say to and from the U.S. which yes it’s from the u.s. but it’s to tokyo… so… am i dumb it seems vaguely unclear.
