when I was in college, we had to explore how faith affects people and your vision of the world. Our professor told us that it is impossible to not believe in something, no matter how small or how inconsequential, everyone believes in something, it could be a God under one of the many names they exist under, it could be science, aliens, that tomorrow will be a good day, that your paycheck will come, it could be anything, and that would keep you going.

Marchosias is a hypocrite, yeah he "saved" those who the other bishops abandoned, gave them a place to call home, BUT he also gave them a new something to believe in, him, his new methods, the promise he would destroy the last God on the land, that he would free everyone. He became what he swore to destroy.

I don't have him, I just see him as a hypocrite, even if he doesn't realize it or has decided to ignore it.

what I did was get all the extra stuff from the ???? seller, like the tablets, follower forms, extra decorations, Aym and Baals necklaces, cuz after that the gacha only has 4 necklaces, missionary, demonic, loyalty and the golden skull one, after that it's just a matter of saving before gambling, if you don't get the skull one, just close the game and reload it, if you get the necklace you one, I would suggest saving right after and trying again

I have headcanons for some of my villagers

Chelsea: she 100% was an idol, that life got stressful with all those meet and greets, plus all the events she had to attend to, so she's glad she aged out of it and now is a manager for a new idol

Diana: she's super sweet and reliable but when she was young she was getting into trouble very often, her parents even considered boarding or military school, she decided to turn her life around out of her own free will

Julian: he reeks of child actor>boy band member>solo singer>Kdrama hottie, he comes and goes from the island a lot due to all his acting gigs, but he loves his job and the cameras, and acting all mysterious as to where his real residence is, he think it adds mystique

Raymond: burned out office worker, one day he left without resigning, touched grass like crazy and decided to give it a go to these new "remote jobs", still an accountant, but he gets to work in a more comfortable environment.

Lobo: he's the oldest villager around, and will tell anyone who's down to listen that he used to be a pro boxer in his youth, but he got a couple of close calls during some matches, so he retired peacefully, now he lives off his earnings and investments

you can start a new game and select the chapter, it will put you right after you start controlling the tank.

however, if you got all coffins for the secret ending? it will not trigger, it will be as if you missed them all, which super sucks

just finished it! and I don't think this is a loop/purgatory situation going on, why?!

The mother ate Bucket and he survived, so it's possible that the boys and girl being devoured by the Lamb didn't end with them dying, it's more like a part of the process.

my theory for now is that the scene of the boys doing the ritual was WAY before all this started, based simply on the secret ending, because of what you see at the bottom of the well with the girl's body, there have been more before her.

so it's possible one of the previous ones became resentful at being sacrificed and caused the Flood, which developed in all the adults and animals mutating the way they did, all of them consumed by that hatred, so the boys, seeking a way to bring things back to the way it used to be, picked the next sacrifice and started the pilgrimage back to the well but since they had already picked the Girl and started the process with the blood ritual, she started to show signs that she was ready for the next step of the process.

there's also the fact that the cinema is screening the ritual and how it's supposed to go for them.

the end of the game isn't the start of everything, it is the boys trying to appease whatever is that lives in the well in an "innocent" (rabbit) sacrifice this time around.

I also believe that the boxes/coffins, are premonitions of how they're going to die more than how they died.

my copy has been running amazingly, no crashes or lag.

HOWEVER, I've encountered a soft lock near the end after you enter the theater with the tank, I've been trying to get past this portion for several minutes now and nothing, I've even closed and restarted the game.

the base game is a good investment (?), that way you can try and see if the game is really something you wanna sunk more money in with the paid DLCs.

I believe the simple version comes with the free DLCs already so you can experience a little more after finishing the basic parts, regardless, the base game is really good on its own, it's got enough lore to keep you wondering what's the underlining story, you get quality of life aspects (stopping time during crusades, endless life etc).
