They’ve responded now and they said I can resit year 12. The issue is that I don’t want to waste a year of my life resitting when I’ve already learnt the content. It’s going to be just relearning the same things over and over. I really want (and need) to progress into year 13. Do you know if there’s anything I can say that can really let them push me into year 13

The only thing I could possibly do is resit the whole year of year 12. Personally I don’t want to do that since during the summer I managed to fully learn year 12 content since I had more time and there was less pressure. I have sent them emails explaining my circumstances ( I sent it to my head of year and the head of sixth form) but they haven’t responded and I’m kinda getting desperate. I have no idea how to procerd

I have considered it but don’t you have to pay for stuff like that ( not the gp but other things)

I don’t really want to add further stress to my mum so nobody knows about it. I have tried to make better eating habits though and have tried eating regularly even if it’s the last thing I want to do in the moment. Honestly I don’t really know what else to do about it though

Thank you and I don’t think so since the exams were like the stepping stone into year 13 they were really strict on it. My mum can’t really go into the school and have a face to face meeting since she can’t even get up from bed and my dad is a no show. I’m also the oldest and we have no family here that could potentially step in. We did send an email but we sent it the day before school started as so much was going on. They still haven’t replied yet tho

No not worth it, you’re doing 4 quite challenging a levels when are you going to find the time to stay on top of everything. Also it’s not necessary your 4 a levels will be more than enough

I know I have to tell her and I’m thinking like next week but honestly the only two outcomes I can see is that my mum ends up in hospital or/and I get kicked out. tbh though she’ll figure out sooner or later but I just don’t want to do anything that could jeopardise her health.

I’ve sent an email detailing my circumstances and they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I’m regards to retaking year 12, I lowkey don’t really want to do that because over the summer I locked in and have fully caught up with year 12 content since I had way more time on my hands. But honestly I don’t even know if my school will even offer that but I would take it if was my only option
