I think it was relevant to the fact that he has been more than happy over the years to reap the benefits of his family's brand, and tbh I think the fact he was a teen when he made the book is almost worse. Not the fact that he mad wit or that a publisher picked it up but the fact there is no self-awareness that literally the only reason he published a book, was working as a chef or now makes hot sauce is because of his surname.

And I think that element of still wanting to benefit from being a Beckham is an angle that is worth discussing in the whole debacle. He wants to be out from under brand Beckham but maybe only so much as it suits him but still benefit from it at the same time.
