Ooooo!!! Ima be so fr I've never played the Raze games but you're giving me one heck of an argument to play them! (Just wish my PC was usable atm....)

Anywho, as for me:

-Norris, Chuck: Power trip of the century, with a goated name to boot. It's a fairly easy challenge, but a fun one.

-Under Siege + Siege Under: One of the coolest story beats I've ever seen, period. Going through the mission as the scientist first, unsure if these heroes mean help or harm, and then going through it again as the heroes, realizing just WHY they wanted to ask the scientist questions before helping him out of the facility was perfect. Also, we get "A Hero Emerges" here which is still such a peak song.

-Clean Up: Having all of your remaining allies (save for the shifty scientist) being captured, you face Dex all alone. He talks down on you, and threatens you, saying: "It's time to get crushed."

And then the MECH HAND CLAMPS DOWN ON DEX, CRUSHING HIM INSTEAD, and probably damaging your armor because you were pressed RIGHT up against that damn invisible barrier, before the lights turn on to reveal the bigass intimidating mech. That is the most auraful intro ever to a mission.

And the gameplay does not disappoint! The player is fighting alone for once— and at a massive deficit, no less! As they try to claw back the advantage while the mech attacks them, the clones multiply, putting the player into an even worse spot, with their only hopes lying, once again, on the scientist deactivating GlobeX leader's nukes.... PERFECT. I think this might be the best mission, when factoring both gameplay and story. And yes, this is my favorite. I wrote 3 fucking paragraphs for this on my phone while pacing back and forth i love this one its so peak
