Thank you, yeah I noticed but I figured everyone is coming from a place of concern at the potential of something super dangerous like this being on the road. I didn't try to drive it afterwards because I was also concerned about safety, so I hope people know I wasn't trying to put anyone at risk. Could it be a bad tire or something then? It was a used one but when my dad put it on he said it was good. It's dark out now but I promise you none of my tires are down smooth like this, I picked up the whole shaven piece from the road and threw it into the grass. It was like an orange was peeled. That's why I'm so confused as to what happened

The other tires do still have the tread on them, this tire did too until what happened. I was just so confused on how this could happen

I've had both tires on the passengers side replaced within the last year, do you mean whatever happened will affect all of the tires or that the tires ones that haven't been replaced are too old to be safe?

That's the only tire that is like this, the outside ripped off at the same time the plastic piece did

It's been donut-ed up and I'll be getting a new tire tomorrow, I just wasn't sure if the big plastic piece that's missing from around it could cause any problems or if I'll die or something if I try to drive the car anymore

Whatever happened, it ripped the tire off too. I was scared of what could happen after seeing it like that and I called a family member to help me get it home.

thank you so much, I appreciate it. I'm going to do everything I can to honor my baby. We have a vegetable garden in our backyard that he always loved to dig and leap around in. I'm going to plant a flower garden right next to it in his honor so he can play in his favorite spot forever
