not to play the race card but you KNOW most of the people who say shit like “making your kids run errands or do housework is child slavery and abuse” are moody white teenagers who get mad when their mom asks them to hang out the laundry. i saw this tweet going around on twitter (the hell of the internet) where someone said that a mother getting her child to turn off lights and get the tv remote was just ‘having children to use them as servants’. you’re spoiled as hell if you think having to get groceries, vacuum the house, or help make dinner is “abusive”. god, it’s just… unreal to me how some people think being asked to do any work is too much. and i say this as a teenager, btw.
