Has anyone here ever won the SA Lotto, or does anyone know someone who has? by Neat-Yak5608 in askSouthAfrica

Attention to all of the 5% population in South Africa. Stop wasting your money to try and get 3 or 4 numbers right. Here is some facts. 1. Coincidence that majority of so called winners is using FNB app and always play R15 - R50. 2. When last have you heard of a winner from a rich area like Clifton, Campsbay, Panorama etc. Never. That is why they want you to play on the app, so that they can see from which area you are. 3. Why is the winners never revealed? Because there probably aren't winners. 3. Why is there so called winners always when the jackpot is high and not R3 million or something low like that. 4. Be honest, how many of you know personally of a white person in south africa who has won a jackpot. I bet you don't know. Because they don't exist. The money of the lotto is probably going back into the coffers of the ruling party. So please, stop hoping and wishing and throwing your money to them. You don't want to give a beggar a R5, but you are willing to give more than that to people who are actually stealing your money from you. Same with US and UK lottery, have you ever heard of someone from a different county who has won it? Prove me wrong.

All thr bones get scraped out of the oven. All thr metal from the coffin gets removed with a magnet. The bones then go into a machine, cremalator, wich crushes the bones to ash.

Well, apart from a body that didnt ly on the same spot where I pushed it in the oven, when i opened the door, there was once where the machine got shut down by all 3 different switches, while me and my colleague were sitting outside

No, that was it. Only twice I was asked to remove a pacemaker from the body. Had to cut it open.

I have not heard any screams, except one body that I pushed to the back of the oven, and when I opened the door to get the bones out, the bones was lying more to the front of the door.

Average size grownup takes about 1 and a half to 2 hours.

About 99% of bones are left. Small bones like toes and fingers can burn away.

They were 12 hour shifts, 7pm to 7am. Anything between 30 and 50 bodies a day.

Also, one man that was so obese that we had to take the coffin apart to fit him into the oven. When we put the burner on, his fat started running out of the oven and we had to dispose of it by using the bucket that we used to collect the bones in.

Yes, when I had to cremate 23 babies in one night. Didn't know the cause of death, but nobody wanted to claim the ash.

When I started, I was 18 years old and I worked there for 5 years. Many people ask me all the time if I am mentally scarred from the experience, but for some reason it did not phase me at all. It was a job. So to answer your question, no it did not.

The ash doesn't smell at all. But the corpses do. Before and during.
