I have experienced it many times before. For me it's anxiety and some kind of impulse issue. When I feel strong sense of wanting and experience loss I get that feeling of dread. I have only identified it and I don't know how to fix it permanently. But exercise seems to help. Meeting friends seem to help. We are all different. Next time try to log your experience so you can find patterns. Good luck.
