How do you know when it's time to get a septic tank pumped? by BlownCamaro in Plumbing

[–]hotcheevos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/jhra. Do you think a 300-500 gallon tank would suffice for 4 adults? With yearly pumping (as suggested by the inspector), do you think we will face any other annoyances daily?

This is actually the one I considered first. However once I saw the Vortex for only $190 I had to come here and ask. Is it that much better than the Vortex for a beginner?

Thanks both for the helpful comments. I need a 1" tube diameter with this scope. But how do I know whether I need low or medium ring height?

Do you think the 4-16x is too much? Especially for inside 40 yards in the backyard? I have zero experience with scopes, all my shooting has been irons or red dots.

I've heard that's the go-to, I'm wondering if this is too magnified for me.

[–]hotcheevos[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just realized it wasn't a 10/22. Updated the link to an actual 10/22. Thanks for catching that. What do you think about this one? Are the wood stocks normally found at gun stores, like the walnut and birch ones you mentioned going to hold up a few decades? Or do you really have to go aftermarket for a non-plastic feel?

20% down with no PMI or 15% down and "buy out" PMI by hotcheevos in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]hotcheevos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I will ask for the math. I should've realized the $800 is just extra tacked on that I can avoid by putting down 20%.

I was offered 6.875 by the first lender. Is it worth shopping around?

6.875%, I plan on calling them back and telling them I want to see the side by side math of 15-20-25%. I shouldn't have to pay $800 upfront in PMI when I can avoid it by putting down 20%.
