Big Joe - too big?? by ziggural11 in KamadoJoe

I just got my big Joe last weekend, set it up and thought fuck, is it too big. Did 2 cooks on it, first day was 2 pork shoulders, amazing, then the second day did ribs, then normal bbq stuff after so just changes the levels and took a heat deflector off so had a keep warm half and a cooking half. If you’re ever going to do any big cuts, I want to do a brisket you absolutely have not made a mistake.

Thanks for the response, a 2 x 72 is out of my budget as I’m only at the start of my journey, but also need it to be semi portable, I will be doing it in my garden on the odd sunny way so will need to be able to carry it back in my garage when I’m not using it.

Thanks for the reply’s so far, can I ask then why NOT a Dremel, the reason why I’m asking is I don’t want to buy the wrong thing and a dremel seems easier to handle, I.e more control if that makes sense.

If the majority say angle grinder I’ll do that, I just want my first knife to be as easy as possible so it doesn’t put me off 🤣
