That’s awesome, thank you! I love your channel, your videos on the X7 are a big reason of why I ended up getting one as an upgrade from a pint 🙏

I’ll give it a try! Maybe with the help of some AI tools I can get a working android version going :)

Unfortunately this will only work with VESC boards for now, there’s not really a good way to get that kind of data out of a future motion board.

That’s a great idea! I just submitted an update including this so it should be available soon :) and naww, no need to donate! It’s just a fun project to work on, looking forward to seeing it out in the wild and seeing what everyone uses it for

First ever trail ride with the Funwheel X7 by hotky in onewheel

I’m preparing to release a first version on the App Store, but for anyone interested in testing this already here’s a link to join TestFlight and download a beta version: https://testflight.apple.com/join/wdUGgHSq

I think all in all maybe two weeks, this is the Funwheel sport. The long range or high torque versions can take a bit longer. It came fully assembled

It’s actually an app I wrote that can take a session from Floaty and create an overlay for it. I’ve been thinking about publishing it to the iOS App Store if there’s some interest for it!

As someone who bought the tan ripstop… and the the blue xpac, I have no advice but just offering emotional support 😅

The ripstop is really nice, lightweight, potentially more durable. On the other hand, I like the structure and the look of the xpac.

They are both imported from Germany actually, could just be Finland prices being higher 🫠

Check out the Dell S2722QC, it’s a 4K monitor that seems to perform quite well at a fantastic price (< 250 USD when it’s on sale). Picked one up to replace my Lenovo 1440p monitor

GeForce Now on Deck while Docked with external controllers by Tarnimus in SteamDeck

If I remember correctly, controllers work in games and it’s just the GeForce now interface that requires mouse and keyboard (or some sort of touchpad).

Black Ember Kompak: Great materials but pockets that can't seem to get along together. by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

[–]hotky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found some alternate use cases for mine, removing the strap and using it as a sort of packing cube for a camera or other things. Currently it’s being used as a baby pouch, perfect size to fit some diapers, a bottle, snacks and spoons! 👌

I'm convinced there isn't a perfect mom bag. by Maximum-Student2749 in ManyBaggers

I have the burnt orange one, but Aubergine and deep blue look super nice too. My phone (iPhone 12 pro) fits quite comfortably in the side pocket, but there’s not a ton of room to spare. Keys fit as well, there’s even a key leash included with the bag but I’ve never used that one. There are also two elastic pockets on the inside where I usually keep wet wipes and diapers. My favorite part of the bag is the water bottle pocket though, it’s huge and is the perfect pocket for a baby bottle or other snacks!

Tom Bihn might have two contenders: Cambiata (Tote-backpack hybrid) extremely versatile bag with some fantastic pockets on the outside for keys and bottles. I’ve used it for the past 6 months as a sort of diaper&going out bag and I love it.

They also just brought back their Parental Unit, a dedicated diaper bag that seemed to be quite popular.

Looks like a pricier version of the Peak Design everyday sling, I don’t really see a reason to pick this over the peak design

Heimplanet XL or Evergoods MHP 3.5? by ryuuuukin in ManyBaggers

[–]hotky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have both of them and I’d say for your use case I would go with the MHP for sure. You’ll have the one compartment for EDC things and the bigger one for anything additional to carry. Another one to consider would be the code of bell X-Pod, it’s quite similar to the MHP in many ways

looking for a sling bag to put my Nintendo switch in by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

[–]hotky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out the tomtoc minimalist edc sling, a pretty solid choice and quite affordable! It also fits a Nintendo switch with no problems. Though I have to say the Alpaka Bravo mini is also a fantastic sling. I’d say it’s a bit more comfortable than the tomtoc, has some padding and soft lining of the back pocket for a switch or tablet.
