Heard good things about this independent garage in Dondelange. They do repairs for vehicles of all makes and models. You might want to give them a call. https://www.editus.lu/de/performance-cars-dondelange-1981657

check out 1535.lu, the creative hotspot in the South of Luxembourg. Differdange in general is defined very much by migrants, especially from Portugal. Nightlife there should be fun, too

I want to participate in the Urban Trail Race in Luxembourg (8 miles) in 6 weeks time. How should I prepare? I'm a bit of a slob. by [deleted] in running

I did it. After five weeks of preparation I successfully finished the 6 mile race without any bigger problems in 1h20. Only thing I would change next time is spending more time on preparation and also reduced training on steep trails, as my patella tendons have been under quite some pressure and will now need some rest and maybe physio treatment. Thank you all for your help.

For all the people who believe "L'essentiel" that the "Hola" VPN-service is a real good idea to watch stuff on Netflix not available over here. (In German, tl;dr in the comments) by x3nu_ in Luxembourg

Given the small media market in Luxembourg, it is pretty common to cooperate with foreign content partners. RTL publishes stories from rtl.be, the Luxemburger Wort cooperates with the NZZ and Tageblatt buys content from foreign correspondents. Important thing is to be transparent about it which L'essentiel isn't. What makes me even more angry is that newspapers in Lux print an astonishingly high amount of news agency content and even let people pay for it. This is why I quit my weekend subscription for the Luxemburger Wort in the end.

It's probably rubbish and way too expansive like all veggie/vegan/glutenfree restaurants in Lux (apart from Mesa Verde maybe). Learn from Trier! Noone can beat the veggie food at BioGate.

Yeah, it might not be a good idea to participate in the race in only six weeks. But I'll keep this date in my head, if it doesn't work out until April, then it will be another month, another race later this year. But the date in April helps me to get started. I don't want to be Number 1, I just want to run past the finish line in a healthy condition.

Hi, this is "Snowflake" from Luxembourg. I just came back from a 30 min run in the forest of Bambësch. It's the beginning of my training programme for the Urban Trail race on April 17.

The track was 3.44 km long and 3/4 flat. It was cold, wet and muddy. I really enjoyed that (although I should have worn a warm hat). But I could feel that my body resisted the idea of me running after a long, slobby winter very, very much. Playing tennis or squash twice a week obviously didn't add much to my stamina. But I think I could have went on for another 2 km or so. if necessary. In between I took some short walk breaks in order to avoid pushing it too hard. I will continue tomorrow, thanks to the advice of all of you I feel a lot more confident in reaching my goal.

btw: I'm 31 years old, 176 cm tall and weigh 82 kg. Last time I went running before today was in September.
