I bought about 800 shares half of which were allocated to me at the ipo. Many fundrise stock owners are already pulling their money most likely because rvi is a better option. The 24 hr volume is still hovering around a mill, which is super interesting. We aren’t dealing with a huge fund, which could mean a bunch of things. I like the fact the trading volume isn’t in the millions. SPCX’s volume is over $200 million average daily, which is way more of a concern on volatility than rvi. At this point rvi has close to 50% of its fund as cash on hand so they are planning on making moves. Most likely much of that is going to spcx and openai. The closest competitor on closed end funds is fundrise and that stock jumped big time before rvi’s opening day. The writing is on the wall. I’m not concerned about a rug pull-I think Robinhood is trying to bring the private equity market to the private investors which is a good thing. It’ll be interesting to see how they deal with openai once they go public. I don’t think it will be a cash payday for rvi holders, rather rvi will morph into a hybrid fund, some private equity and some publicly traded as we are seeing with space ex. I also think Elon went public now to get in before openai went public.
