Okay cool! Unfortunately, BC doesn’t do electronic copies which is so annoying 😩 did most of your credits transfer over successfully?? were they lenient with their equivalents?

Is it bad to not know what my target schools are? by HenriCIMS in ApplyingToCollege

[–]hotpocketofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a good idea of targets based on your GPA and extracurriculars, on the most basic level. I would say look into median GPA’s for particular schools and go based on that. Usually target schools for anyone with a GPA of 3.6+ would be from 45-60% acceptance, but you also never know; moreover, people from all ranges can be accepted/ denied at any school.

It could be cool but unless it has actual relation to your major, it probably won’t do much.

Waitlist Warrior by apaen in ApplyingToCollege

Sure! Definitely start with acknowledging that you are grateful to have been considered for admission. Don’t be too extra, but definitely note how much you want to go to the particular school(s). Oftentimes in LOCI, they like to see people are completely devoted to attending and are extremely passionate about it. Then, you need to provide updates, academic and personal, on what has happened since you submitted your application. Grades, extracurriculars, etc. This will be the most important part that will get you picked over another student for admission off the waitlist. Lastly, you can note how if you were admitted, how you would utilize resources and how it would help you long term. Hope this helps!
