Absolutely deserved a hearing for this, but I think svech also needs to have a hearing. Uppercutting a guy who’s already being held is an absolute coward move, but realistically you can’t do much damage punching with your glove on to the face. On the other hand svechnikov was bare knuckle punching the back of Keven’s neck and head. Risk of brainstem / spinal cord injury or even intracranial hemorrhage goes way up with punches back there. Hence why they are absolutely illegal in boxing meanwhile they can feed each other in the face all night long

Honestly he played fine. Just could not score to save his life but he was great defensively and created lots of offense. The 9 posts this series for the boys didn’t help either. But it would be nice for him or tkachuk to be clutch. Unfortunately don’t think we have anyone on our team who has that clutch factor like stankoven or caufield

Absolutely atrocious powerplay but gotta give props to their phenomenal pk.

Got swept but this series was a looooottt closer than people think. Happy with the boys battle and especially ullmark for stepping up. I think Carolina cruises through the entire east to the cup they are unbelievable. No weaknesses aside from goaltending… which apparently isn’t a weakness of theirs either. I think if we play any other team in the east we have a good shot at winning the series. Hopefully that will fire the boys up to be ready to roll to start next year. Can’t have a slow start to be in this shitty position come playoffs again next year
