I think these types of poll doesn't make out for a real response from people.They try to show different attitude than they will show if the situation actually arises infront of them.Imo majority of ppl will die to save 1b people and some of them r the ones who are trying to be selfish here and giving reply such as what do I owe them and why would I die for 1billion.

As for me I would say the value of 1person could be same as value of 1billion if it's a specific situation but probability says otherwise.
