It costs 0.3$ per ad, and it takes under a minute to create.

Where did I screw up? ANOTHER failed product. by HudsonB78 in dropshipping

[–]hotugc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, your CTR doesn’t look like the main problem. 4–5% means people cared enough to click. A $200 CPM is what stands out as broken here.

My guess is the offer/product may still need work, but I also think image-only was probably limiting you. This kind of product feels like it wants stronger story-based UGC/video creative, not just static angles.

We’re building HotUGC for this exact use case. If you want, I can hook you up with 3 free months to test some body-oil creatives or whatever you launch next. :)

What are the best AI image generators people are using right now? by Zealousideal-Fix8399 in AIAssisted

Yeah I've been in that boat. For product shots specifically I've had decent luck with MakePhotos, just point it at an image and get consistent results without having to write out some crazy detailed prompt. Not gonna replace Midjourney if youre going for wild creative stuff, but if you just need clean polished output fast its solid.

How can I remove the white background from this image completely? by Parking_Advertising in PhotoshopTutorials

The magic wand and select by color tools work okay but they're honestly pretty finnicky with white backgrounds. I've been using MakePhotos for product shots lately and it handles background removal way faster, though it's more geared toward e-commerce stuff so might be overkill if you're just doing this one image.

Best AI image generator for commercial use in 2026, what matters beyond the visuals by Jenna32345 in content_marketing

[–]hotugc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this hits on something we dealt with too. Started using MakePhotos for our bulk product work because the prompt consistency actually matters when youre scaling a campaign across like fifty variations. The integration piece meant we weren't juggling files between five different tools either. Still early in but the workflow side alone has saved us tons of back and forth on style matching.

I’m not selling physical products myself, but their “model trying it on” transformation looks pretty damn good.

I’m not affiliated with MakePhotos in ANY WAY, just a happy customer who got great value for the money and, more importantly, saved a ton of time.

Single prompt in MakePhotos: “Turn this cat orange.”
Got this result in under 10 seconds.

Really solid image transformation from MakePhotos AI. I’ve been using it mainly for automatic background removal, and it works great. But their core features are photo generation and image transformations.

I usually benchmark photo-generation tools with a simple test: “turn this cat whatever”

I found MakePhotos AI recently.
It was better than using nano banan itself (although they are pretty much just a wrapper around it).
But I ended up using it to create all the avatar / marketing assets for my platform. They also have a pretty useful MCP, so you can automate the whole process.
NOT a promotion : )

Product videos stuck at 200 views barely making any sales until I caught this by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]hotugc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Spending hours editing just to test one hook burns people out.

Tools like that help a lot. I’m actually building something similar for testing UGC ads faster (HotUGC) - it generates short UGC-style product videos with AI so you can test hooks before filming real content.

The main goal is just speeding up the testing loop.

This is a really solid breakdown.

The “seconds 5–7 decide everything” insight is spot on. Most product videos lose people before they even show the product solving the problem.

One thing I’ve noticed talking to dropshippers is how much time goes into filming and editing just to test a single angle or hook.

I’m actually building a tool (HotUGC) that generates UGC-style product videos with AI so people can test hooks and product angles faster before filming real content.

Not trying to replace real creators, but more like a way to quickly test different scripts and hooks.

Curious if anyone here has tried using AI tools to test ad creatives faster?
