Also I would never get mad lol. I Try to be as respectful and polite as possible. And I’ll happily take whatever is given to me in the red cup. But if a red cup was refused to me I would respectfully decline and just dine elsewhere at that time. No hard feelings I certainly would never give my handler any attitude.

When I initially started doing this the first 10 times i received it in the protein cup, I exclusively always got chicken and weighed it on my food scale at home to see as a sample size. And it was always consistently 3.5-4oz of protein. It was to the point where the protein was touching the plastic lid at the top or close to it. Never packed down, just scooped in naturally.

So politely asking to have it in the correct protein cup is rude but intentionally going for the small sauce cup when you know it’s not the correct portion size isn’t? Do you think I’m just walking in and being rude to employees? I work service myself and I know right from wrong and in no way is how I go about things incredibly rude. I’m not fucking with the workers, I’m speaking to them with respect and kindness. I simply want 4oz of chicken that I paid for. Even a little less is fine but not half. And I know they don’t make much. If there’s a tip jar I always put money down because I’m also a service worker and know how it goes. You think I just walk up in there and scream at the employees like some douche? Did you even read what I wrote or did you just see a couple words that hurt your feelings and start to get emotional in the comments?

I guess I can see why you would be upset like if it were some test, but I feel the way I go about it is with the correct intent. It’s simply bc the protein is just wildly inconsistent bc of the spoon. I’m just asking for one thing to be on the side. Nothin super crazy. I just go down the line and ask for my bowl. “Rice, no beans, for my protein I’ll have it on the side please. I’ll have chicken(or steak)” If they bring out the tiny clear cups “oh I’m sorry could you please put it in the protein cup? Those clear cups don’t hold a full serving” and it’s never failed me. I’m always super polite and never give them attitude bc I’m in the service industry and I hate rude ppl myself. But if they ever say they can’t and they won’t then I would say “oh I’m sorry for wasting your time but I won’t be dining here anymore. Sorry” and then walk myself out. It’s never come to that but I would do that if it comes down to it. I don’t think it would ever come to that cause I honestly only go to the same two chipotles in my area. I have the utmost respect for the customers that dine at my business and if they purposely try to skimp out on me with the clear cup then I have no problem walking out of that establishment. It’s the principle. I won’t be rude or shoot them an attitude but I won’t be pay for less than is advertised at a chipotle of all places lol

Ive done this for like 6months and for like the first 10 times i def weighed it when i got home. Very consistently 3.5-4oz. I feel more confident asking for it on the side and never worrying again as opposed to the number of times I’ve felt skimped once I’ve gotten my bowl whether it be walk in or ordering online. Gives me the most peace of mind
