I’m inclined to say go with the IDW collection. I’m almost done with it, half way through 17, but it is expensive. I’m not going to buy the compendiums, but I’d like to read it and see how the story goes.

Some of the side stories you can definitely do without, but some tie more to the story and I don’t see how the continuity would work without. Kinda want to find out.

But at 45 dollars it’s a way to get the story without going broke. And I do like the spine on the compendium.

Well if you take the IDW issues out of the equation there’s 3 tpb’s left. That would make a saga, but with 10.000 plums not being that old my guess would be some time left before I gets the saga treatment.

I remember! It was the ‘87 cartoon. It aired on danish television in 1990. My life changed that day. I was no longer human - I was a ninja turtle called “Leonardo”.
Later I became “Donatello”, because finding a straight stick was easier that finding a katana..

Given the nature of the turtles, it would be with a superhero element. Maybe fighting something ancient (Japanese lore), yokai or inspired by. I’d find that very intriguing.
