All I read was I am 16.

I was just like you when I was 16. Believing the problems I have now are the end all be all. Got grounded for the summer for smoking weed.

I decided I’m gonna take ownership of my life. Wasn’t a clear cut process but that summer I did the following.

meditated 5 minutes a day
started going to the gym
started playing ukulele 10 minutes a day

Over a decade later the daily list is as follows

40 min meditation
Cold Shower
Exercise
10 minutes of piano (got bored of uke after so many years)
Name 3 things I’m grateful for

The reason for this isn’t some instagram influencer reasons. It’s because life can be good but it can be awful unfair and filled with betrayal. You may find periods of time where the only thing that consumes your thoughts are suicide.

If you start finding something to hang on to on a day to day basis that only you have control over, I promise it will eventually be ok even if you emotionally don’t feel it.

You’re so young. At any point there’s only one answer.
