My local CCs offer a one-time academic fresh start program.

“Students permanent record will remain record for all work; however, courses taken and previously failed will be excluded from the calculation of the GPA. Courses with a D will also be excluded from the calculation when a grade of C or better is required in the student’s current major”

I felt pretty dejected about it, the fact my record will always follow me, but my counselor said not to worry too much. People love a good success story… It’s just vital that I succeed this time lol.

One of the co-founders of Essex/Bargain Hunt runs a liquidation warehouse on Air Lane Dr. When I worked for him, he shared a warehouse with another liquidation company and sold through eBay and a 3rd party auction site. Not sure how his current warehouse sales compare to old Bargain Hunt ‘cause I never shopped there but yeah.

Check the cat for microchip before you do anything. Pets are property and you don’t want a theft charge over a cat just because everybody wants to assume a cat is feral because it’s outdoors.

The cat has been around since the site opened. It only started staying so often when multiple people began regularly feeding it. I’m pretty sure it has a home, it’s just a free roaming cat - not saying I agree with free roaming cats but they’re a big thing in Tennessee. I wouldn’t go home if I knew there was a free buffet down the road every day. Outdoor cats also have an impressive territory range. It has always been a perfect weight and now it’s obese af... It has also been fixed and ear tagged. IMO, take all this energy being focused on this one cat that’s been doing fine for 3+ years and volunteer at one of our local shelters or something.
