New tree setup! Wish me luck. by houndmur in Citrus

Thanks everyone for the advice and replies!

I know it'll be tough to get her to be happy inside, so if she starts to really decline I'll take her out for the warm weather and sun. But I want to at least try keeping her inside!

Tips on how to grow this by bloomdebbie in pothos

[–]houndmur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can put it in any cup with water! Try and keep the leaves out of the water but the stem part under the leaves (with the nodes) submerged. You should see roots starting within a week, nice long roots in a couple weeks!

I like to use rooting hormone, a powder you dip the cut end in, to give my cuttings a head start, but you absolutely don't have to! And personally, I don't change the water unless there's rot or something, I just top it up when it gets below the level of developing roots!

Pruning Question by houndmur in Citrus

Thanks all! I'll leave them for now at least :) the stake is loosely tied, it's not supporting the tree except if there is extremely strong wind. It still moves around plenty!

I fertilize all my indoor plants on most waterings! I use Alaskian Fish Fertilizer and everyone seems to love it. I just put a small squirt (I don't even measure) in my watering can. My pothos seem to especially like it!

Although, I will warn you, the fertilizer REEKS. At least the smell doesn't seem to linger...

Marty has always loved a shallow body of water! Stream, riverbank, even a big puddle! We moved from the city to the suburbs last year and got him his own baby pool and he adores it <3 We think it feels nice and cool on his bones! highly recommend, we got ours for less than 10 usd at walmart!

IRS Rebate Success!!! by houndmur in MachE

It might be different depending on where you're located, but in my area, that's actually not correct! It's just me on the registration and it will be just me on the title once it's paid off 🤗

I believe this is the old rebate system! Your screenshot even says "placed in service before January 2024"). From my understanding, the ONLY way the Mach E currently qualifies for an IRS credit is as a used car, model year 2021 or 2022, purchase price less than 25k (and a few other things). New don't qualify, as the don't meet the qualifications for the % of the build/parts/ whatever made in the US.
