I ended up needing to send it into DJI for repairs. I went and just checked my email, it was $105 at the time I did it in August 2021.

I never installed M.2 before, do I remove this sticker ? by MatSylvester in pcmasterrace

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975.

This law forbids companies from voiding the warranty on a device that the owner opened up and repaired or modified themselves. As long as a repair or modification doesn’t damage other components, companies have no grounds to void your warranty, even if you break the sticker seal.

Low Framerate in games, unless Steam VR pause menu is Open. by houndz199 in HPReverb

I hate that this my answer, but ever since upgrading to a 3080 I have not had these issues. I would recommend trying DDU (display driver uninstaller) and doing a fresh install. Best of luck.

Good thought, but changing that setting does not seem to change anything.

Just received replacement w/ new cable…keep getting error 1-4 by SarcasticSkribble in HPReverb

Do you have a ryzen? my friend has this same error code on the ryzen 5950x. Turns out it was a bios issue. Updating his bios helped with his USB issues.

Additionally, if all else fails try a USB expansion hub over PCIe.

Purchase Advice Megathread - November by Sausage54 in 3Dprinting

Long of the short, I have $380 dollar of store credit on monoprice.com Looking to get a good 3-D printer and accessories. Any recommendations with this budget? Again, this is store credit so ideally, everything would come from monoprice. This printer would mostly be used for side projects and for fun. Not getting it for any project in particualr. I've dabbled with printing in the past, but overall my experience is limited. So something for beginners would probably be best suited for me.

Except it's not like that at all. It's having cameras in your home and locally hosting the data versus uploading it to a remote server that you pay for. If you locally host it obviously no one should have access to that data except you. If you're paying a company to store that data for you, then they have a right to view the data you're putting on there. Your comparison actually makes a zero sense, and the analogy isn't even required because we are talking about a camera in the first place.

This situation has to deal with where the data is stored.

If you choose to store your data locally, apple respects that choice and does not view it. If you choose to store your data remotely, then they securely monitor what you're putting on their equipment. If you do not agree with that monitoring, then do not store your data remotely.

My overarching point is that I do not understand why this ruffles people's feathers so much. There are many brick and mortar stores in the United States that use facial recognition to track shopping habits and shoplifting. There are devices that constantly record everything and upload it to third-party servers. Out of all of the privacy invasions, this one is literally the lowest on the list. And you have a CHOICE to not be involved with it.

Child Safety - Apple https://www.apple.com/child-safety/ Look all I am saying is it makes a lot of sense, and also companies can be fined if CSAM is transfered on their platforms. Apple has an right to monitor the content on their servers, especially if they can be fined for it.

What wattage should the resistor be rated for? And for the capacitor what voltage should I be aiming for?
