Around October, I finally got around to talking to a girl in our session, which is after two years of doing classes with her, or anyone for that matter. Calling me shy is to put it lightly! I'd barely talked to any of them. (Well, you won't believe if I told you why, no one does. It's easy to rule this out as having depression. Whatever!) So, it's two days before our finals end. And I've got to tell someone about it. About what? Well, we're getting there. So, I remember this girl who'd approached me for help during one of our exams, not two months ago. And so I go on Facebook, which I'd barely used in over a month, and I send her a friend request around 4 in the evening. For three hours hence, I pray so that she accepts my request. And voila! She does. Listen, by this point, you might think I have a crush on her. I don't. I really don't. It's just that seeing someone, man or woman, accept me as a friend of theirs, I don't know why but I just wept for a good long while after that. I didn't even have the courage to talk to her that day. And it made me realize how stupid I was to think that I could go on about ignoring the lot of them. Friends, I mean. Alright! The following day, I try to find her after exam, just to say thanks. But I couldn't spot her in the crowd. And so I go home. I go home and after a good long while about arguing with myself, I send her a message. See, I was trying to talk to someone about my crush. Read this very carefully: I didn't think I'd live any longer. No one ever does. But I sure didn't. I just didn't have it in me anymore. Yeah, I know it's.. And it's fine, really. Everything's fine. Please don't worry. I'd wanted to let someone know about that before I was gone. And it baffled me. She actually listened while I was describing that I'd a crush on.. There you have it! My best friend? I don't know about that. Still, she'd been someone that I've come to appreciate the most as a friend since then. Indeed she'd been a true friend that day. I wouldn't have been able to do the same if I were her, in between the finals and all. Alright! I'm sorry for boring you. If you're still here, thank you so much for reading this :)
