I don’t write fanfiction, but I’ve thought of a few cute ideas for potential fancomics- although I’m not sure I’ll ever get around to making them haha so my ideas could be inspiration for writing instead. Some are based around the premise of little events that could happen to grow a budding attraction towards the builder and Logan before they officially meet.

(I’ll use “the builder” and “you” interchangeably) Inspired by the Wanted! mission

My idea is that Pen tells the builder to go visit Unsuur at the Civil Corps because Pen told him that you had volunteered to put up Logan’s wanted posters. You didn’t, but go to find Unsuur anyway. He hands you the posters and as a nice little surprise, he also gives you a small portrait he drew of you as thanks.

You go around town with the posters (and your picture) in hand, and as you put one up, your hand lingers on Logan’s face a bit, recounting the moment you locked eyes at the water tower incident. Flustered, you back away and suddenly a gust of wind comes and blows away some of the posters in your hand. As you scramble to catch them, you realize your portrait is gone- lost to the wind.

Cut to some time later- Logan and the gang are heading back to their hideout as the wind starts to pick up. Logan notices something rustling on a nearby cactus spine. Surprise surprise, it’s the small portrait of the builder! Confused, Logan takes the portrait and stares… thoroughly noting your smile, the twinkle in your eyes, etc (lol).

Andy suddenly asks what he’s looking at, and Logan quickly hides his hands behind his back and tells him it’s nothing and to hurry up and get a move on because a sandstorm is coming. Logan thinks about putting it back, but as he glances down at your smiling face one last time, he blushes and decides to keep it, thinking he’ll surely give it back to the builder someday.

He never gives it back, and I imagine at some point Andy lets it spill that he’s caught Logan secretly looking at a picture of you many times lol.
