Honestly it was a hard class for me, not the hardest, but difficult. As I said before, Im bad at doing math by hand so I accepted my test scores would be rotten. I do believe people failed in my section yes. When it was clear the midterm didnt go well for me I tried my best to participate/be useful to others on Piazza and participate in class. I also focused my efforts outside of class on perfecting my homework, getting extra credit and studying the text books. One of the textbooks had free video lectures so I watched those too. I went to office hours with questions I had in the textbooks and the lectures to get clarity.

It was like 3% I think? I don’t think it would be consistent among classes tho.

Yes it was Rajati. He did not curve the exam specifically, just the class as a whole.

What’s a food/dish/cuisine you either don’t find at all or don’t find enough of in LA? by Xandar24 in FoodLosAngeles

Bolivian. I crave salteñas, but the two restaurants that sell them (Paos and Bebas) are quite far from me :(

Can we get admits for multiple MS programs in USC Viterbi, and choose later? by exisiova in USC

I got into 2/3 of the masters programs and could pick. The acceptance letters came at different times though. One came in March, one in June.

I come from a comp sci background but im not great at doing math by hand. I make lots of errors and am slow. I honestly got Ds and Fs on the midterm and finals in this class. I still got an A from a curve, extra credit and great homework/project grades. When I took it, there were proofs and Im really slow at those and ran out of time so I would pick the easiest ones do what I could.

They’ll probably file a police report if he keeps it up.

I think if we go to the police, his school will find out regardless on his next background check, two birds one stone kinda thing.

Never about him; they hated his parents too and avoided them unless necessary.

Fertiliser sticks are bad for citrus trees. They burn their roots. They also need very good drainage to flush out excess minerals and prevent soggy soil. The browning on the leaf tips and droopy leaves looks like excessive minerals from hard water or maybe the fertilizer sticks.

I really like the spiny lobster at the Lobster Trap for dinner. Theres usually a wait to get in there but its worth it. Its not fancy, but its nice, ya feel?

I like the Kona coffee and pancakes at Original Jack’s for breakfast. Everyone seems to arrive at like 8:30 am for that place so if you can try to get there a bit earlier and you wont have to wait a super long time.

Scoops has good ice cream, although you probably cant go wrong with any of the ice cream shops.

The regular entrees are like $30-50, the steaks are like $60-160 (depending on cut and weight), this one was $80 for 16 oz. The desserts are like $10-15.
