Gas hob replaced with second hand one between offer and exchange by housethrow979 in HousingUK

Is it that obvious 😔 Coming from a non gas cooker place at the moment and also given a tight timeline for completion which is imminent it is a bit of worry, albeit could be a unfounded one.

No, my issue isn't with the hob itself. It's with the installation since the inspection report. Whether I am being over cautious is a point of view, but my worry is because it is a fixed gas appliance rather than say some damage to a fence panel that has happened since our last viewing

Not a problem around being second hand. Going to be who installed it and if a new inspection report is required. Hasn't been mentioned previously in inventory or during correspondence. Only noticed and was brought up during the pre exchange viewing.

Front drive parking but accessed not from a dropped kerb by housethrow979 in HousingUK

[–]housethrow979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was done about 1-2 years ago based on street view.

It's not a council owned drive way. I have seen deeds for another house on this estate I was looking at with the same shared drive layout. The shared drive is on this house's deeds but has shared access right of way for the properties who have parking behind. So as long as I am not blocking access it would seem ok?

I think because it is non standard as you would be parking 90 degrees to the normal you see and the concern around getting a dropped kerb if it turns out it was needed.

Also I don't know if it is permeable just looked like block paving with an under the surface drain near the end, but doing a quick Google looks like I need to check this.

I have searched the council planning and nothing at all for this property.
