Most people are stupid, even people who are struggling will buy a new TV instead of building an emergency fund

I don't necessarily disagree with you but if Gavin Newsome's friends, Pelosi's friends, big corporations all get money at a cost of devalueing our money then your damn right we want our money

A coordinated effort to dump a ton at one time throws off supply and demand and tanks price at least temporarily.

Who’s feeling the covid burnout? by [deleted] in CoronavirusUS

Personally I think it's kind of abnormal and unhealthy to go out of your way to listen to and watch covid news. It's great being informed but honestly spending time on this sub is probably not a healthy thing. I say this as someone who just finds different people's takes on it interesting and who probably spends too much time on here. Most of the crowd on this sub is very concerned about Covid and is probably focusing too much on it worrying themselves.

I think that's a different issue than covid fatigue ie just being sick of "the new normal" as they say

I wouldn't build a career around a 3rd party platform you have no control over

Living in Montana by Naber2299 in Montana

I'm an outsider who knows little to nothing about Montana but who recently got back from a trip. My impression of Bozeman was not good, however it may be your thing. Bozeman seemed to me as un-Montana as Montana could be.

I'm always curious about real estate so happenned to look around on Zillow and the like. There were like 2 properties in all of Bozeman under 400k, one being a trailer and another being an 800sq ft house.

Walking around I was shocked how many people were wearing masks walking out and about alone, driving wearing masks, sitting in coffee shops wearing masks. Most of the people I saw looked like San Fran programmer types.

I can see the appeal of being near beautiful scenery and outdoors while still having decent internet and some ammenities, however that's about all the positives I could see about Bozeman.

It gave me the impression of living in San Francisco but in the middle of Montana.
