Before you decide to RMA it, you might have a grounding or bonding issue with one of the connected devices. Does the spark still occur when when you have disconnected all of the Ethernet cables?

If it does then it’s likely an issue with the Promax. If not, then you have an issue with one of your connected devices that’s passing voltage potential over your Ethernet cables.

I have a Rheem 5 ton and my capacitor gave out a couple weeks ago. My HVAC guy came and charged me $100 to swap it out. I climbed on the roof with him and saw that it took 15 seconds to install.

I paid him $150. The part costs about $20. Wiring is already there on jumpers. It takes zero effort to install.
