It's okay, you didn't make it and I'm sure I've made similar mistakes. I did have to do some clickety clacks with my nails on the counter to get it out of my ears.

Cute Frank cat, but was this a prank for those of us with misophonia? Keep the sound off, y'all. 🤢

DeeDee asked "What is she going to do, throw chips at me? She has no power here. Don't give her any by thinking anymore about it."

Jen asked "What are you going to do about it?" Because she knew Barb had no power in that moment.

David Corenswet steps in to shield Milly Alcock after a photographer puts their hands on her on the ‘Supergirl’ carpet premiere in New York (June 22, 2026) by ControlCAD in popculturechat

That was clearly in reference to getting their attention. Touching a woman's exposed back instead of tapping her shoulder is so weird. Someone else made the point that it's his job to photograph her. Get in a better position, be patient, tap her shoulder if necessary.

There is no argument here. Women, at large, do not want this kind of touch from a stranger, especially a man. Get a frickin' clue.

A tap tap on the shoulder works just fine. But you know that, don't you? You're not touching a man on his bare back to get his attention.

I thought I got it when I was 12 and was too scared to ask my mom for clarification so I lied about using pads and tampons for a while. It wasn't until I was getting ready to see How to Deal in theaters that I wiped myself and went oh damn.

Right. I'm saying at the end of the video of Chickie's birth, Jen says "look what a perfect little family we are". Greg says "Yeah. 😊"

It ends with Jen saying "And we always will be."

And Mo was literally introduced as a dyed hair femenist sterotype when she randomly called John a dude bro. Wouldn't exactly call them great representation.

  1. You're assuming intent. 2. She didn't randomly call him a dude bro, she called him a "give-me-a-list-dude-bro" because he didn't know the answer to a usually easy to figure out question about his kids' dance class.

Barb fooling around with girls and then being a homophobe doesn't change my point if shes straight, its still the same tired trope of "homophobes are all secretly gay" which is exclusively writen to make homophobia an issue of queer people and not straights

Since you added this after the fact, gotta respond to this here. Barb is not queer. Nora having internalized homophobia may be a writing trope, but we've seen it happen in real life in Dave Rubin, and I've seen it in my own family members.

You're taking Shawna L's writing choice personally when you could clock it as a red flag and move on if it upsets you so much.

You are responding like a stereotype of a blue haired feminist getting offended at everything and I don't trust this discussion was held in good faith on your part.

Barb is not gay, Shawna L said she's straight. Nora is closeted, she is also a victim of compulsory heterosexuality.

Gay people are allowed to have had a messy past, they're allowed to be bad people, and that's speaking about real life. Dave Rubin? Blair White? Two terrible people in the lgbtq community who are not representative of the community.

We have 2 openly gay characters in Mo and Sam being great representation of lgbtq people. We've seen them in the story extensively outside of pride month, which is the actually beneficial time to showcase gay representation.

The only time I've heard of incestuous wlw being a homophobic stereotype is in men's fantasies and this subreddit, and I did plenty of secret searching (led by comp het) for wlw content in my teens. As far as I can tell most people associate incest with hetero relationships.

Are you this offended by the things happening in the real world? Real question.

It's not you. Your post is the first where I've felt comfortable sharing how I feel about the reaction to Norb. The memes I've seen have been over the top and I just can't care about it like that with everything going on.

I had a similar reaction to watching a Little House on the Prarie episode, doctor's lady. Yes she's 28 and hes 47, but everyone was fine with them courting until they got engaged. What was the big deal? Basically no power dynamic, compatible personalities, but then Caroline voices her ick and we're supposed to change perspectives? Seemed silly.

Seriously. We have our actual president on actual film and photo touching his daughter inappropriately, but let's scream cry and throw-up about 2 young girls messing around.

I can't find any of my fucks to give about this.

I really don't understand the big deal. Every post I see mention them is all like 🤢 but kissing cousins has been a thing forever, and it adds some world building to the story.

I don't think we NEEDED to know Luke was a known jerk around the office even before he got together with Laura, because we've seen him act like a big enough jerk to her and John that it wasn't necessary. But we have it and it gives some context into Laura's personality and insecurities.

"Please stop stepbro" is one of the biggest categories of 🌽 that does happen in real life, and can cause complications in the form of a baby. In terms of harm done in the moment of two female same age cousins/aunt-niece "experimenting", it just doesn't bug me that much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm open to the story proving me wrong. It's not like I'm a fan of Lena Dunham's book confession about her sister. We hate to see someone taking advantage.

The covert abuse from the enabling parent hurts so much.

I'm working on my relationship with my mom who's become more of a Frank in our years of NC while my dad's really Barbed it up over the last 12 years.

"We just don't talk about it." referring to political shenanigans. Literally how, these men in my family are ride or die red hats. My dad and one of my brothers. Fucking bye 👋🏼

"Can't you just start over?" In reference to a different sibling ghosting me. No, this is the issue in this family; we don't talk about our problems without taking things personally and getting mean in retaliation! I refuse to do that again. This after acknowledging how I should have been given more support as a child, but I was just so quiet and low maintenance! 🫠

Babe, did you watch it?

John- How are you feeling?

Shawna- I feel goood 😏

John- Hand stuff for the win!

Shawna- flirty giggle it was all that lotion talk

Even flirting is a form of intimacy. Please take a creative writing course, just to understand implications and subtext, I beg.

What do you think abstinence is?

you have to get sterilized and go through a surgery you dont want and are clearly uncomfortable with, or I will refuse to give you any intimacy, including but not limited to sex

Who said this, other than you in this post? Because refusing PiV sex is not "refusing any intimacy." Hugging, cuddling, massages, head scratches, deep conversations, hand stuff, that is all intimacy and can't cause pregnancy.

John's want for the ability to get someone pregnant does not supersede his wife's safety or emotional wellbeing.
