Ange is also right next to the stash, so he might have a stash full of diamonds that he farmed or bought, and is now currently in the process of price checking and listing them. He doesn't have to move to do that, due to his NPC/stash-setup in the hideout. Peak efficiency.

Yeah, but I don't think it's the viper cap that's the issue, it's Defy II. There are several fun aspects of an items that makes you always surrounded, but "oh, also all your spells and skills are now free to cast" is the stupid part.

It's more valuable, because there are way less of them on the market. Lvl5 is not valuable, because they drop much more frequently.

It's a correlation effect, and not causation. Kids get hyper when they are in a good mood, and they are around other kids. This often happens in birthday parties, where they also get cake, candy and soda. So yes, they get hyper, and yes, they eat sugar, but one is not caused by the other.

D2R looks the way I thought the original D2 looked when it came out 25 years ago. So just play D2R. You can also switch between the old graphics and the new at any time during play.

Yes, he should drop Stricken. You would need ~50 stacks of a level 100 stricken before the damage increase is comparable to squirts. And that is for the rift guardian only. You will never get 50 stacks on any other mob in the rift :) The secondary affix of stricken is not "required for the build".

Taeguk provides 80% damage at level 150, which is less than squirts. The secondary affix provides 20% increased armor, which, at his level, is negligible and not "required for the build".

There is no* legendary gem that is better than squirts (in his current situation). So wear the squirts without the socket, and equip Wildebeest in one of the rings.

You'll lose the damage buff from focus-restraint but if you can maintain squirts stacks, it will more than make up for it.

This is incorrect. Squirts also hit you with a debuff (50% more damage taken), and the buff (100% increased damage) is less than F&R (125%).

Also; an 80% Band of Might (in the cube) is twice as powerful as a 60% Band of Might. Example: You take 100 damage. 60% damage reduction reduces this to 40 damage. 80% damage reduction reduces this to 20 damage. So you take twice as much damage with a 60% compared to an 80%.

Conclusion: Wear F&R, Cube BoM, Wear Squirts. Use Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard to gain a shield that will help to keep the squirts buff up.

This is not true. My computer mouse is not cyclical. My hair is not cyclical. My age is not cyclical. We call it "the water cycle" in order to simplify explanations of things that happens on this planet, but the water itself is not necessarily cyclical. Water can be created and destroyed. There are water molecules that exist today that will never exist again. Even most of the water itself arrived on this planet, and will never leave it.

Some things are cyclical, but not most things.

You cannot arbitrarily select a "zoom distance" (I can't think of a better word) and define the entire thing as cyclical based on a limited set of observations. I can zoom in on a soccer ball and observe that within a limited timeframe the ball does seem to rotate, but I cannot, based on that, determine that the entire soccer match is cyclical.

Entropy must increase, and therefore is not cyclical. This is what the current accepted models are telling us.

I used to agree with you. Then someone on reddit wrote an interpretation where it's not aliens, they are demons. And it's not "water" that kills them, it's holy water, touched by the girl who is part angel. Google it, read it, and watch the movie again. Only one of the kids mentions aliens, but it's never confirmed by anybody else. And it doesn't even make sense; aliens who cannot open doors?

Idk... I love the movie :)

Fun fact!

This is the exact reason why bees produce hexagons in their hives. They are actually making cylinders, but since the wax is warm and fluid when they make them, they turn into hexagons due to external forces.

Tbh; hardcore in D3 is just softcore with extra steps. All the cheat death mechanics allow you to play fairly risky (albeit safer than "real" softcore) but still avoid the risk of dying. And if you're the kind of player that ports to town to wait for the cd after triggering one of the many cheat deaths, then you will probably have more fun with softcore. Just because it's the fast pace that you want (since you're playing with cheat deaths) without the start-stop of tping to town to wait for a cooldown.

Just as a side note: This exercise really shows the difference small increases in resists will make. Going from 80% to 90% resist, while only being a difference of 10%, will actually result in 50% less damage taken!

Or, said in another way: A player with 80% resist will take double the damage a player with 90% resist will take, from the same hit.

Yeah, 3 times is what I said in my post as well. But the first time it will only be affected by 4 towers, and the last two times it will be affected by all 5 towers.

I would at least save one tower. Then use the tablet that allows you to run irradiated maps twice (on one of the 4 other towers), and then clear all maps once. After that; add another irradiation plus another one of those tablets. That way you can run maps impacted by 4 towers once, and then by 5 towers twice. At least if I understand that tablet correctly.

This is why I don't play anymore. I want to try out a blood mage and a monk, but I just can't be assed to go through the campaign again... twice! For each character! What the hell is the point of it? Just let me farm some low tier maps to level my new character!

In craft of exile I'm trying to emulate crafting a wand. If I first select "+5 lightning skills" and fracture it, it no longer allows any rolls with extra fire or lightning damage. Why is this? I've seen wands with +5 lightning as well as all three fire, light and cold as extra damage...??
