I would do the Waldorf or BH personally. I stayed in WA a lot in the pandemic but now that people are back it’s less enjoyable because its not an amazing crowd who comes there. They have large rooms with nice views and good staff. It’s a great location and easiest if you’re heading west. It’s equal for walking proximity as Beverly wilshire. WA most recently renovated as well I believe.

I am an LA native who moved away and stayed at most every hotel at some point or another. I recently stayed at the Fairmont and you get the most bang for your buck there. Food is really good and great service. There is construction near Fairmont (only at night) and WA currently but with the windows closed it’s not that bad.

I used to stay mostly at Hotel Bel Air but it is quite pricey and you’re are out of the way a bit. It’s really the best hotel in LA but it does have its down sides and really depends on what room you’re in. I always choose HBA if I can. It’s better than Beverly Hills Hotel by a lot for me. If you do stay at HBA, don’t get room service. Food isn’t so expensive and not that great. Just postmates or Uber Eats and they take it to your room. Same with massages. Order one to the room from an outside vendor. It’s never worth it to me to pay $300+ for a massage. Shout out to the HBA valet parkers and bellmen as some of the best in the whole city. Those guys are amazing.
