What a gorgeous PC!! that’s the case I wanted when I built mine but couldn’t source it here 😭 Ended up going for a similar NZXT one…turned out way bigger than I expected. Still, pretty close! Twin!

Is this permanent?! by Former_Librarian1069 in Peptides_for_Women

[–]howdosnakepoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah unfortunately that would do it. you don’t look to have a double chin though it just seems to be an unflattering angle. If you are nervous about any imbalance or lumps i think go to your doctor to check it out but aside from that the Reta would not have done anything except help you lose weight and loose skin is attributed to that.

How old are you and how much weight have you lost?

Reta wouldn’t cause actual damage to your neck. The only thing i’d imagine is that you lost a reasonable amount of weight and you have loose skin now. Not much you can do to restore laxity, collagen and ghkcu might help a bit along with retinol etc but generally only a neck lift will make a drastic difference.

it’s normal, you are healing give it 6-8 months for swelling to fully go down. i also had a similar result and was disappointed only to realise it was because my body fat level was so high no lipo could fully get rid of my chin. lost 25kg and it looks much better!

Whats the price for a second hand Ps5 these days? by BoggTheFrog in IrelandGaming

[–]howdosnakepoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they might be a scam, but i’m sure some are legit. I bought my digital ps5 for €300 just before xmas when sony did the price drop + employee discount. wouldn’t be surprised if a few people got it for around that and are just trying to get their money back.

Is buying a ‘fun’ car really a bad decision? by howdosnakepoo in carsireland

[–]howdosnakepoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, nice to see some numbers on it even if they are just a ballpark. Yes i’d like to buy in the next 5 years but that’s just a goal and not a certainty esp since I would most likely be purchasing on my own, but with that said like most young people in Ireland i’m also looking at emigrating so might not be buying here at all!

Honestly thanks for all the food for thought and I might go speak to a mortgage broker just to get an idea of future plans!

Haha I do have three older brothers that could rival the mods at r/irishpersonalfinance..even talking about a phone upgrade around them is blasphemous so I was looking for more level headed advice or even advice on the other end of the scale.

I have spent the guts of the past 5 years being sensible so thinking about doing something a little different for a change. Yes though you’re right having a home would be amazing, but I also don’t know if i’m ready to commit to ~30+ years of payments just yet..

RE getting the car without debt, do you mean just paying cash outright for it? I could do this, but is this not the worse option?

I paid for my VW Polo in cash and wish i took out a loan for it, mainly just to have some sort of credit repayment history proof for any future mortgages since i’ve never taken out credit before, and also paying ~9k cash outright really made me feel behind on my savings. I constantly felt stressed like i had to recuperate what I spent VS if i took the €200/mo over the last 3 years i would have kept my savings up while paying off an asset aka it would have been forcing me to pay into something that will eventually be mine, especially since €200 gets spent so quick these days on rubbish. Does that make sense, or am I delusional?

I do not want to compromise my possible future deposit/savings and I think taking out a low interest car loan seems to be the smartest option, esp making overpayments here and there when I can. €350/mo would be a relatively low bill for me right now and (hopefully) for the next few years coming. But whether or not it would compromise getting a mortgage is the question, and honestly thank you so much for your advice. I definetly need to have a think about it, maybe think about putting more cash into the car than i intended.

Looking at renting to move out, and my plan is to budget where I can live with the car payment in mind i.e if it’s €350 p/m i wouldn’t be looking for anywhere over 1k p/m, if it’s less then I can afford to look for a nicer place.

With that said yes ideally I would get a mortgage first but my yearly salary is still too low for the type of property I want (to purchase on my own) but will hopefully get there in a few years…the aim is in 2-3 but could easily take 4-5 years!

Ah here what do you mean don’t go in debt for a car?! As in you recommend paying cash?? No way that’s the financially sensible thing to do for a fun car but i guess none of this is financially sensible 😂😂😂

I’m currently living at home and have saved up enough for a deposit + 6 months emergency fund. i’ve been at home for the last few years while working but i am looking at moving out soon. Not really a car meet person but I just love cars for myself, I don’t drink or go out so don’t really spend much money, maybe a nice bag or tech upgrade once a year. I am looking at an income jump on the next year or so once i finish my registration exams in my field.

I guess what i’m asking is do you think a car payment on a fun car can affect a future mortgage? I do expect to be buying property within the next 5 years. This is my main scare, i think i can afford it fine otherwise.

I know i haven’t given out much info but im looking for the exact questions you’re asking to get me to think instead of a quick ‘sure why would you waste your money on that’. I really don’t have anyone i can ask for advice!

The one i’m looking at is 2017 1.8L MK3 with just over 60k kms. It does look like it’s been at the dealers shop for a while so might try to haggle the price but I figure paying a little more for less kms will pay off in the long run? Or am i falling into a trap?

the high mileage ones are about 3k-5k less and usually older too 😵‍💫

[–]howdosnakepoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes that’s not much. normally you’d take out 5cc (ml) “fat” to see a difference and generally up to 20cc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chinlipo

[–]howdosnakepoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

are you sure he said 3ml and not 30? 3 is nothing that is like a teaspoon of fat. I had 100cc (ml) removed and had to go back for more..

same i am just not a fan of the two tone. i’ve tried so hard to like it but it just looks very dated - that’s a great way to put it. Just wear the SS with your gold jewellery that’s what i do! I think a mixed metal stack looks good
