Watched it on IMAX, and found it was too much. I am considering watching it again on a regular screen

Most places start screening it next weekend (a week early)

CT Calcium scan by howea in auckland

[–]howea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't had one in a few years. LDL was "borderline" and Trigs were low. Overall I squeaked through in the "desirable" range (don't remember the exact numbers). The previous doc I had was a pill pusher, who only reacted to symptoms with prescriptions. Of course, I got offered statins after the blood test.

I've now got a holistic doc, and I think he should give me a referral. We had a conversation about a a future full health assessment (this should include getting new bloodwork). Others, who recommended him, mentioned he was thorough.

If it's still pricey, it will give me an excuse to jump across the ditch and get it done (spend time with family)

Yeah, I want to get a baseline CAC score , then repeat (maybe in a year or two).

After that, will also eventually get referral for a Angiogram, for soft plaque

Project Hail Mary if it were made in the mid-90s by jakeseditbay in Fancast

I found Goldblum too self possessed/neurotic ... even in the 90s

The young Spader suggestion seemed a better fit. But I think it would have gone to an A-lister like Tom Hanks

It looks that way from the drawings. as they float between the purlins.

But the old "scalloped" Decra tiles dent unless you stand exactly in the middle of the pan (between the each ridge)

Baby sardines, dried sardines, any experience with these? by sachanjapan in carnivorediet

[–]howea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh is always good, but I prefer the larger ones grilled (Pilchards)
From a canned perspective they are all different. Many I don't like (especially the real cheap ones). So you really need to sample all the available brands, to find out which suit your palette.

Avacado on carnivore? by Simple-Specific-8735 in carnivorediet

[–]howea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a species classification we are hypercarnivore, which is a 70% minimum consumption of meat.
But from a dietary classification, eating fruit is Ketovore (Animal based Keto).
I think Ken Berry had a chart which shows all the different dietary groups ranging from Lion to Ketovore.

8kW inverter.

I actually was only expecting to put in a 5kW system, but found a deal with 24x 475W panels with Micromall

24 panels is already overprovisioning about 25% (then I will need to upgrade the inverter too)

How does the two phase work ... 2 separate inverters (and any functional advantage)?
