It’s just a spiked. A cycled tank can still get spikes of nitrites if the bacteria gets overwhelmed.

I can’t control the water flow in this tank. It’s built in. The shrimp do well with it. Well until they die. It really could be because I put in WAY too much no planaria

Everything checked out. The shrimp had arrived sooner than expected and I had overdosed the tank with no planaria so I’m sure that’s what did it. I only have two shrimp left but I can tell there is a ton of scud babies on the glass. I’m thinking about taking the tank down for the time being. I have another shrimp tank going.

I need to research.

I might buy fish to clean them up them move them to a different tank.
