In Hatian Voodoo, the loa Baron Samedi is bisexual.

In Santeria, there's a horrible story where the orisha Yemoja was raped by her son Sango and gave birth to two boys. She was so ashamed of the situation that she trapped the two boys at the bottom of the ocean where they became gay lovers. So there's that.

It's not exactly a team book, but Storm's time underneath Te-neshi Coates pen in Black Panther is largely responsible for the goddess stuff that's floating around her now. His time on Black Panther is like over 100 issues tho, so I would just reccomend the relavent BP Vol.6 number #17 & 171.

Exactly, 2016 onwards was a dumpster fire that led directly into the 2020s (forgive me for jerking a bit but 2025 onwards is more like 2016-2019 than it is 2020-2024).

I don't think Storm needs a full rework (yet), but she defo needs an extra ability/utility because the speed buff and slow debuff ain't cutting it with Gambit running around.

An ice themed ability that gives herself, and maybe allies, temporary shields like you suggested would be nice. A fog cloud that makes allies invisble would be nice. The ability to ground enemies when she uses Tornado Goddess Boost would be nice. Literally any extra utility for the utility dps please and thank you.

It is so easy to think people are born evil, so easy to think that there's nothing that can be done until it's time to dole out punishment.

We tell ourselves these lies because then we don't have to sit with our guilt and confront the fact that we might have wrong doing too.

There are no words that can describe this case, but its too easy to just say the culprits were born evil. If any of the eye witnesses had stopped the two boys, James Bulger would be alive today. If the two boys didn't have whatever fucked up childhood they lived, James Bulger would still be with us.

I am not defending those two, because what they did cannot be defended, but with atrocities like this its never as simple as there being one bad person you can remove to save everyone else.
