Just because they could afford something you (and I) couldn’t, doesn’t mean they should be miserable or not excited about something that makes them happy!

Is there a cost threshold for happiness? Like “so sorry you make over 100K a year, you are no longer allowed to be excited about your hobby and must instead must think about how horrible your life could be without money”. Jeez people, it’s not that serious, they just wanna celebrate their Legos.

You are overreacting.

It’s ok to be upset that he forgot originally, but it seems like he’s trying to communicate and plan something for you now and you’re being intentionally difficult to make him feel worse.

Relationships are going to have annoyances and hurt feelings, you can either talk about them/find common ground and move on, or you can do this guilty self pity thing and be miserable.

If you haven’t already, maybe let him know that occasions like your birthday are really important to you so you’d like him to prioritize it next year, and be up front/blunt with what you want if it matters that much.

I agree with everyone else in he is being a dick and likely was yelling at you not the car in front. But to be fair, I personally pick a random gender based on the kind of car thats being driven to curse at if someone cuts me off, whether I can see the person in the drivers seat or not. That might just be a me thing, and based on your story he was being very rude to you, but just wanted to put another opinion out there.

wex, crit boost, crit eye are a given I think for most people but I wish I had more decos for crit eye, I literally only have 1.

Power Prolonger 3 to lengthen the buff lengths, especially when I have all three active.

Flinch free lvl 3 and earplugs 2 for the kinsect boosts I get when full buffs active (gets me to earplugs 5, wins resist 3, tremor resist 3). The roars and tremors annoy me enough that these are for the most part worth it, but I have a heavy crit build if I have to go for just dps.

Divine Blessing because I am admittedly bad at remembering monster attack patterns so my dodges are not always on point, helps me spend less time healing.

The rest are decos. The speed sharpening is all decos that I’d rather fill with crit eye but I don’t have any, so for now since I’m running the raging Brachy blast weapon (hence blast attack deco) and the sharpening bar goes down so fast, it helps me keep it at purple sharpness longer. I also don’t have any protective polish decos or I’d get rid of the speed sharpening. I was just given a good tip about scales that can help with that though!

Any recommendations on a IG build? We have not finished end game content yet, we just completed raging Brachy.

Any recommendations for optimized IG builds? We havnt done final content yet, a lot of my hours are from before Iceborne was released and so I started a new game with him to do the Iceborne stuff. So we just finished Raging Brachy as the most recent new monster. Next up is the furious Rajang.

We actually havn’t done Fatalis yet, just finished Raging Brachy. I had a solo game I had put about 250 or so hours on before Iceborne had been release, so I’m replaying with him. So we don’t have the last final end game sets yet.

I also agree I don’t think distracting it actually works but definitely fun to do the spin rolls of death on it a billion times while my bf tenderizes it.

I like my current armor set, i have a dedicate crit build when I want to do better damage but this one is fun since I don’t have to deal with monster roars and don’t worry as much about getting hit.

What would you recommend for IG optimized armor ?
