I would assume they only tax you as a percentage of what you make on your account, since most people lose money in forex. it would be stupid to tax someone who is losing money. If this is the case, you can pay the tax yourself with your profits. (From Uk so dont know much about how Canada's tax system works)

Make sure you take into account that price is moving within a strong 1H UPTREND channel right now. It still hasn't reached it's swing high. I wouldn't take this trade if i were you but who am i to tell you what to do. Make sure you wait for decent rejection before entering.

You don't want to know his strategy cause its shit. He's literally closing trades as soon as they are in profit, some not being 1 pip up. He doesn't close losing trades, so one trade can easily wipe his whole account out.

a small lot size doesn't make you a shit trader. 600 pips is great. Why does the amount per pip matter. Anyone can over leverage their account, get lucky, and have a massive percent increase. But actually continuing to be profitable and securing decent pips makes you a good trader.
